Performed at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts George Harrison Studio Theatre.

This project lead me to develop the communication and organisation skills neccesary to be a lead designer on a theatre production. It was a big responsibility to create both Set and Costume designs but I rose to the challenge and created a cohesive, modern interpretation of the Carol Ann Duffy classic.

I used the ensemble opportunity to allow collaborative work with the actors and the costume design department. We created characters together and shopped with them in local charity shops to ensure they were empowered by their costumes and reduce waste. The Set was designed to be modular and decorated with non-recyclable waste collected from local big supermarkets and cast members to promote reusability.
